Road to Success
As I got close to 50,000 hits I couldn’t help remember the good and not so good times. In this post I will reflect on all dates and people that helped me through the way.
The Story
Pre-blog
I made my penguin in Novemember of 2006 on a dare by my good friend Soccerbama.
Why I chose the name:
At the time I had the Character Yogi Bear on my mind. I fused the two together and got Yogipen.
Getting the blog.
I created my blog just randomly. After a day I got sick of it. I never logged on for 4 months.
My Return:
After a few months I returned in October. I was becoming an expert and was helping children in my school and mostly my neighborhood. I felt that because everyone liked my help I could help others. On October 27th I returned. My first post was on all the candy being found during the Halloween Party.
A Mentor:
Blogging was a new thing for me. I didn’t know about views or how to get them. Shortly after I started I was introduced to a guy name Mastermrz. He became a mentor and a friend. I learned how to post with “pizazz” and learned what info to display.

False Fame:
As I was blogging I quickly got famous. Well in my mind. At my school a lot of people viewed my site. I felt “well everyone must know my site!” I was wrong. It took me 3 months (since October) to get 1,000 hits.
BPE HERE I COME!:
In early December I was asked to join the BPE (best penguins ever). I thought that was cool. Turns out that little invite changed how I blogged. At the time I thought I was top dog still, turns out I just thought I was better.
The site turned into more of a Fight between me and the other members instead of Club Penguin. The site went into a downward spiral. It is no longer around. The downward spiral taught me to focus on CP and nothing else.
Here is a picture that I took when I joined:

New Year, New Changes:
With the New Year changes were made. The BPE headed in a downward spiral. I jumped ship again to another Blogger website. That website got me fired because of my False Fame. After being fired I realized my mistakes. I went on vacation (in real life) and returned better than new. I was different now.
Chances of a life time:
As I grew people noticed. My friend (to be) Jakzarhad started up a new site called Mammoth Event. It was a chance for me to finally learn in a different way then just MRZ. Sadly though he quit a week later.
But this event made me realize I was on the verge of fame, the verge of being noticed.

Starting all over:
As I continued to grow I began helping others. I joined many sites but no more needed my help that Xstermnater7’s I really enjoyed working on his site. We (and BetaXs) were becoming popular and his site helped me grow into a helper that is loyal to sites more than my own.

Living the Lie:
As I grew I wanted to stir things up. I told people I was a beta as a joke. To many people found out. Eventually I couldn’t handle it. I told people I wasn’t a beta just was very good at editting.

Heart Break:
In June everything crumbled (well in my opinion). Yes my site was popular and all but still something bad happened. MRZ has “gone on vacation”. I learned a week later on a game called Runescapehe had actually quit. I was heart broken. Later that month Jakzar quit. Everything fell apart. I was very sad.
A blessing in Disguise.
With the “death” of MRZ and Jakzar I had to learn to fend for myself. I soon posted better then ever. I learned I could do anything on my own. I had started to become a blogging genius. Getting on the Fastest Growing blog list and such. I was becoming my mentors.
Becoming a Mentor:
At the time I didn’t know it but my good friend Xs7 had become my apprentice. According to him (Lyonx now) I was what made him the way he is. I am very happy to have helped him and have him respect me the way he does but I must add that I wasn’t trying to be a mentor. I was trying to keep a job
.
Domination:
As I grew I got better at blogging. I soon began to dominate passing friends and mentors before me. I would get 200 hits a day. Since October 20th I haven’t had any views under 175! I was becoming a master at blogging some said. Helping others, becoming friends, and even making what people now call guest apperances at parties.
I really hope you enjoyed this story. I have many more to tell (and some for you to find out).

Wow Yogipen, I never knew I played such a big part in your succes story either. I am going to tell my succes story when I get as many hits as you too. I never knew your whole story, you always seemed pretty mysterious. I can’t belive how sad some of your story was and I have had some of those moments myself. Your story is really something and I see why people visit your blog so much. I also want to advise you to be careful with Slider and help him. You don’t need another sad part to your story. If you feel to pressured just leave. You should be focusing on your bllog for the time being.
